DESCRIPTION:The Hopewell Theatre (5 S. Greenwood Ave., Hopewell NJ) is a terrific volunteer-run, member-supported venue that consistently brings a variety of national & regional acts and classic films to western NJ. One of my favorite recurring H-T events is its open mic/showcase, “Your Stage at Any Stage”, which features short sets of music, poetry, & comedy by local performers. On Wednesday, Dec. 14, I’ll again have the privilege of taking the stage and pretending I’m a Rock Star 🙂   If you’ve never been to Hopewell Theatre, you should check their website and buy some tickets for a show. Having this cozy and professionally-run venue out in this semi-rural section of NJ is pretty special.
