DESCRIPTION:I’m told that a “musical residency” is “a series of performances (usually a run of 10 or more) at the same venue”. I am ecstatic to announce that I’ll be playing my first-ever residency…first-ever anywhere, that is… at The Narrows (Upper Black Eddy, PA) starting on Oct. 23 and happening on “penultimate Sundays” thru March 19, 2023. Yeah, I know that’s only 6 dates, but if you add the 2 Sunday brunches I’ve already played at The Narrow, that makes 8, so…close enough. (Footnote: I do not use “ecstatic” lightly – My first 2 Sunday Brunch gigs at The Narrows are high on the list of Most Amazing Gigs I’ve Ever Played…both were “perfect storms” of audience rapport/response, room sound, and vibe all coming together to make some serious magic)\nIf there’s a finer Sunday Brunch to be had ’round these parts, I haven’t found it yet. Excellent food and service in a beautiful room with a lovely river view.
