DESCRIPTION:First time I sat at the counter of “The Oaks” Family Restaurant (6705 Easton Rd., Pipersville PA), the room and vibe reminded me of TV’s “Cheers” (minus the beer & cocktails) in the “where everybody knows your name” sense. Owner/Chef Mike and his crew made me feel welcome and it was easy to see why the place has so many local “regulars”. It’s usually a breakfast & lunch cafe, but Mike prepares and serves delicious and reasonably-priced dinners on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, when The Oaks also occasionally features live music.\nI’m happy to announce my “Oaks” debut – Thursday evening, Dec. 5, from 5-8pm.
